Hello, and welcome. I’m Sandra Reddin a Londoner who currently lives on a canal boat after several years trotting the globe. Living on a boat and cruising the canals suits my itchy feet and also provides me with an ever changing back yard to photograph when the mood grabs me. My career in photography began about 10 years ago but I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember.  Travel has given me opportunities in photojournalism which runs alongside my wedding work and I’m happy doing either type of photography, I just feel lucky to be doing something I love.

But weddings hold a special place in my life. I’m the youngest of 6 girls and during my teens there was always an engagement or wedding being planned, and they were often held at home. Such great times !

When I photograph a wedding my aim is to capture all of the important moments that traditionally make up the day, but I also like to get a lot of candid shots too. Couples often tell me the day went in such a blur so it’s lovely to be able to hand over a record of their day with all the bits they might have missed.

I’ve photographed over 150 weddings now so I’m very experienced and I think this really helps couples relax as they know they are in safe hands.

My approach to the day is laid back and that’s because I would have done all my home work beforehand. I’ll have asked all my questions and have a detailed breakdown of what’s expected to happen so I can be in the right place for all of the important stuff. I’ll also be keeping an eye out for those wonderful candid moments. I am not argy bargy and don’t boss people around, but I can do some herding when required..

Whenever I need to bring along a second shooter I have a core group of photographer friends who I’ve been working with for many years. We have a great rapport and shared interest in taking lovely images. We are also multi lingual speaking Italian, Russian and French!

But that’s enough about me..! I can’t wait to hear about you and your wedding plans.

For more information about my approach on the day please see FAQ page.

And please do get in touch if you’d like to know more about me or my work. If you are getting married and would like me to send some pricing then I’d be delighted to hear from you.

"Well, where do I start? What an utterly superb experience! Prior to the wedding we really had no real idea about what we wanted photography-wise - then we found Sandra and fell in love with her portfolio! On the day itself her welcoming and conscientious manner put my (somewhat extreme) nerves at ease, and her ability to catch the most impromptu moments both allowed my husband's eccentric manner to shine, and made the day that much more fun. Sandra's attention to detail is second-to-none; from capturing , to the sleek, elegant design of the web album, and the beautiful wooden keepsake USB"
